What it does
- Reads master data and transactional records over standard SAP interfaces (BAPI/RFC and OData), so no custom ABAP transports are required on the SAP side.
- Maps SAP equipment and functional-location hierarchies onto the asset model used by our edge nodes and condition-monitoring pipelines.
- Pushes events the other way: an anomaly detected on-device can raise a notification or a maintenance order back in SAP, closing the loop between detection and action.
