Your idea stays yours.
Handing a product idea to an engineering partner is an act of trust. We back it with agreements, access controls, and architecture that keep your intellectual property protected from first call to final handover.
Ask AI about this page
Whether you are commissioning a custom board, a field-deployed product, or an AI system trained on proprietary data, the same principle applies: you own what we build for you, and nobody sees it who does not need to.
Four safeguards,
in place before we begin.
Protection is not one document. It is a stack of legal, procedural, and technical controls that reinforce each other.
Non-disclosure agreements
A mutual NDA is signed before any technical conversation, and flows down to every engineer, contractor, and supplier who touches your programme.
Contracts that assign ownership
Statements of work state plainly that the designs, firmware, software, and documentation we build for you are yours, with clear treatment of any pre-existing tooling.
Controlled access to code and designs
Repositories, schematics, BOMs, and datasets sit in access-controlled environments, available to named engineers only, with access removed when the work ends.
Private deployment by design
Private LLMs, RAG systems, and edge AI run on your infrastructure. Your data, prompts, and models stay inside your perimeter.
Read our NDA before you share a word.
Our standard mutual NDA is available to review and download. If your legal team prefers its own paper, we will happily sign that instead.
What you pay for
is what you own.
When the engagement ends you should be able to run, certify, manufacture, and extend the product without us. That is how we build it.
Full ownership
Source code, design files, firmware, models, and documentation transfer to you on delivery.
Clear documentation
Architecture notes, build and test procedures, and BOMs so your team or another vendor can pick up where we leave off.
Licence transparency
A full list of third-party and open-source components with their licences, so there are no surprises at certification or audit.
Confidential handover
Deliverables move through agreed, secured channels, and project material is removed from our systems on request.
IP and confidentiality, answered.
The questions legal and procurement teams ask us most often.
Yes. We sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement before any technical discussion, so your idea, designs, source code, and specifications are covered from the first conversation. Our standard NDA is available to download on this page, and we are happy to work from yours.
You do. Custom hardware designs, firmware, software, models, and documentation developed for you are assigned to you on payment, as set out in the contract. Our own pre-existing tools and libraries are identified up front and licensed to you for use in the delivered product.
Project repositories and design files are held in access-controlled environments, with access limited to the engineers assigned to your programme and revoked when they roll off. Customer data and code are never reused across projects.
Yes. For private LLM, RAG, and edge AI engagements we deploy on your infrastructure, on-premises or in your VPC, so training data, prompts, and models do not leave your perimeter.
Yes. Every delivery includes a bill of materials for software dependencies and their licences, so you know exactly what is in your product and what obligations apply before you ship.
We hand over the complete deliverable set, documentation, and credentials, then securely remove project material from our systems on request, subject to any retention the contract or regulation requires.

Bring us the idea. Keep the rights.
Tell us what you are building and we will start with an NDA, then a direct technical conversation about how to get it made.
